Lead Veterinarian

Dr Clara graduated from The University of Sydney in 2019. After completing an equine internship, she joined The Gables team in 2020, when the clinic was still a mixed practice caring for alpacas, horses, cattle, dogs and cats. She later moved to Canberra Veterinary Hospital to focus on small animal medicine and surgery.

Since then, Clara has gained extensive experience across small animal emergency, rural mixed practice and companion animal clinics. She enjoys the diversity of veterinary medicine and has a particular passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care to her patients.

In 2026, Clara returned to The Gables as Lead Veterinarian and is excited to begin this new chapter, working alongside a dedicated team to support the pets and families in the local community.

Outside of work, Clara loves spending time outdoors gardening, hiking and skiing with her family. At home, she’s kept company by her two cats, Peggy and Rupert, and her kelpie, River.
